it should actually say 100% not 0%. We'll fix it now.
So let me explain what the retirement funded % means. We can quote retirement progress in a few ways.
- what % of your spending goal is funded (141% in your screenshot).
- What % of the PV of your funding needs is funded (that's the assets today line in your screenshot)
- There's also the projected balance / projected needed balance % (the bottom row in your screenshot)
All of them are valid for conversation. In order to not overwhelm the office home page, we chose #2 which is your current retirement savings / PV of future funding need.
This bug popped up because you have a target balance of $0 so they are "infinitely overfunded" haha. It should say 100% instead of 0%.
Does that make sense? Do you prefer a different measurement on the Office home page?
