We need a general account type category to capture other types of tax-deferred accounts. I have clients with cash balance plans, deferred compensation accounts, or stock option plans that are all pre-tax dollars, but I don't fit into the existing account types. Perhaps you could include options for "other -taxable" and "other-tax-deferred" as catch-all categories.
Another improvement would be having an option for retirement accounts that are split between Roth and Pre-tax. Many fidelity plans don't neatly separate Roth from Pre-tax investment holdings. They're just aggregated together. It would be a useful feature if there were another account type that allows the user to specify the % that is Roth vs. the % tax-deferred. I think Right Capital does something like this.
